Rip's "A Storybook Christmas" Lighted Parade 2025

PARADE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN


The Eastland Community Foundation and the Eastland Chamber of Commerce are proud to present “One Starry Night” in Downtown Eastland!

The evening begins with Rip's Christmas Parade, themed “A Storybook Christmas.” The parade will roll down Main Street at 6:00 PM. Parade line up is at 5 PM. Please note that parade registration closes Monday, November 28th at 5:00 PM   DEADLINE EXTENDED to Wednesday, December 3rd!

After the parade, entry photos will be posted on the Eastland Chamber Facebook Page. Winners will be chosen based on the number of reactions (“likes”) their photo receives. Cash prizes will be awarded:
1st Place – $250
2nd Place – $100
3rd Place – $50
Voting closes Monday, December 8th at noon, and winners will be announced by 2:00 PM on Facebook.

When the parade reaches the Eastland County Courthouse, we’ll gather for The Lighting of the Square Ceremony, hosted by the Eastland Centre for the Arts – Lyric Theatre.

Following the parade, Grimes Garden will welcome Santa, who will be available to visit with children and take photos. Enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and live Christmas performances that will fill Grimes Garden with holiday cheer.
