The Eastland Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to take part in our 41st Annual Old Rip Parade on October 7th at 11:00 AM on the Main Street of Eastland. In recent years, Old Rip Parade had around 70 participants and we are optimistic that with the help of our local community and beyond that our parade will continue to grow! 

RipFest, which is the festival following the Old Rip Parade, is meant to help drive tourism to Eastland and help further educate non-locals about the story of Old Rip the Horned Toad and our fascinating history. 

Check out this year's lineup for activities: 

Saturday, October 7th: 
-Miles for Meals 5k Run benefitting Meals on Wheels of Eastland: Siebert Elementary, 8:00 AM
-Old Rip Parade: Main Street, 11:00 AM
-Kids Street: Commerce Street, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
-Vendor Booths: Around the Downtown Square (Commerce & Lamar Street), 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
-Live Entertainment: Courthouse Steps, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
-Bryan’s “Old Rip” Car Show benefitting Solid Rock Camps: Onsite at Commerce & Olive Sts, 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM
