Cooking Teams, Vendor, & Winery Registration:

The Annual Rip's Ribs Cookoff is a great day in downtown Eastland to fire up your grill and make your famous Ribs with special rubs, sauces, spices, and more! Enjoy a variety of vendors along with more food options than you have room for in your stomach. 

Each year the Eastland Chamber of Commerce gives away over $2,500 in cash prizes to the top cookoff teams! Cooks can enter the “People’s Choice” categories in Appetizers, Beans, Desserts, and/or Meat (excluding St. Louis-style pork ribs) for $10 per category or $30 for all four. Winners in these additional categories will get the entry pot for that category and a year’s worth of bragging rights! 

What pairs well with Ribs? Wine and jazz music of course! 

Back by popular demand is the 3rd Annual Rip’s Wine Festival held from 12:00PM-5:00PM under the Big Tent at the intersection of Commerce & Mulberry Street on the Downtown Square.

The EHS Band hosts the Annual Eastland Jazz Festival with high school and college bands from all across Texas playing a variety of oldies and even current radio hits of today. This year, the Jazz Festival will be held on the Courthouse Step and in the historical Majestic and Lyric Theatres. More details & full entertainment lineup coming soon!
